Information we collect
We collect account details such as name and email; business and merchant-connection details; plan and billing records; payment references, amounts and provider status information; API usage; support communications; and technical logs such as IP address, device information and event timestamps.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and APIs, create and reconcile payment orders, deliver signed events, provide support, secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain accounting records, comply with law and improve reliability.
Payment and identity information
UPI Pay does not ask for or store UPI PINs, card PINs or banking OTPs. Payment processing and merchant KYC may be performed by an approved provider, bank or authorised verification service. Their privacy terms also apply to information submitted directly to them.
Sharing and retention
We share information only with contracted hosting, communication, security and payment-infrastructure providers as needed to deliver the service, with professional advisers, or when legally required. We do not sell personal information. Records are retained only for service, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting and applicable legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted transport, protected credential storage, hashed API keys, logging and backups appropriate to the service. No online system is completely secure. Where a provider processes data outside India, appropriate contractual and security protections should apply.
Cookies
We use essential session and security cookies required for login, request protection and account operation. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on the platform.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a privacy grievance. Some records may be retained where law, fraud prevention or dispute resolution requires it.
